@Jnelson09Returns and no, you are NOT mistaking that for Marc Summers, who did (Super Sloppy) (Family) Double Dare

I think chuck woolery’s best show that he hosted was GREED. He was the PERFECT host for such a show. Too bad it came off the air.

This was Chuck Woolery’s best show to host and I still miss this show to this day. I would love to see GSN somehow, someway, someday grab the rights and start airing these. Please GSN, anything can happen.

I noticed for the intro word, they always used the host that would play against Woolery.

in all fairness, the older game show host s were the best. Its always been how they explain the game and how they presented every umph of enthusiasm. Alan Ludden sadly missed as well as Bill Cullen. I really didnt like Raferty but Tom and the guy that did Bullseye and Gene Rayburn. They were all pioneers to the game show world along with Barker.

I know you miss Bob, but so do I. But honestly, it was HIS decision to retire, and I don’t think he can host any longer what with his age now.
And towards Drew Carey, he won’t be Bob Barker, but he’s doing it the way he wants to, and that’s what Bob told him, just like what Ralph Edwards said. I respect your opinion, but mine: I like Drew.

Actually, it was Bill Cullen who was the second host, when he filled in for Allen when Ludden got sick. Tom then permanently replaced Ludden when Ludden fell gravely ill

They really shouldn’t say Name that Tune for Tom; he stopped hosting that 6 years before this! Try Wordplay, instead!

When I first saw this when I was little, I could not believe that they had said that Bill had hosted Card Sharks, because I had been used to seeing Bob Eubanks hosting it.

This is always an interesting time when they do this. Hosts playing the game is always interesting because we get to say exactly where they belong; behind the cards or behind the buzzers. Bill Raferty is an interesting host and wiity too. Tom Kennedy looks like he will be a good sport no matter what. Though Tom’s experience on Wordplay would give him the edge in this game. One way or another; these home viewers will either love them or never watch their shows again.
