Ben Steinbauer first saw the so-called Winnebago Man in 2002 while having a couple of drinks with friends. Someone popped a tape in a video player. “It stopped everybody in their tracks,” said Steinbauer. “It was just so funny and interesting that people couldn’t believe it.”
